Professional Software Calibrations

We provide professional calibration services for engine and transmission control units, using the most advanced tools and software for data acquisition, analysis, and editing.

Each calibration is validated through extensive dyno logging sessions. Our in-depth understanding of the operating logic of modern control units allows us to fine-tune calibrations for any configuration.

All calibrations are developed, tested, and fine-tuned in our dyno room using a Dimsport a2ction 4×4 braked dyno with cardan-shaft connected axles.

An efficient cooling system ensures a realistic simulation of road conditions, allowing us to provide calibrations based on the acquisition and analysis of objective data and repeatable measurements, all in complete safety.

Map switching & flex fuel

In high-performance tuning, fuel quality has a significant impact on the achievable performance. The implementation of Map Switching allows the user to independently select between multiple calibrations with different power levels in just a few seconds.

This ensures maximum performance with 100 RON fuels or ethanol blends, without compromising reliability and flexibility for daily use with 95 RON fuel.

Custom exhaust systems

We supply, install, or custom-build any type of exhaust system upgrade for vehicles. Options range from a simple mid-pipe for OPF removal, to sports exhausts with valves, and even complete exhaust systems in an equal-length configuration. Various options include downpipes, sports catalytic converters, or mufflers, delivering uncompromised sound and performance.

We carefully manage the selection and installation of all supporting components for tuning, such as high efficiency intercoolers and radiators, high performance intake systems, high-flow turbochargers, and fuel systems dimensioned to ensure adequate fuel flow for the desired power output.

OPF delete - Pops & Bangs

On most BMW and Mini models with locked ECUs, it is possible to perform an OPF delete, enable Pops & Bangs, and activate the “fart”feature, which enhances the shifting speed, directly via software.

This intervention does not require remapping, ECU unlocking, or the use of emulators, and most importantly, it does not void the manufacturer’s warranty.

Bench unlock - Femto unlock

We offer on-site bench unlock services for OBD writing on all Bosch MEVD17 ECUs, including post-2020 models, and all Bosch MG1 ECUs produced up until June 2020.

For Bosch MG1 ECUs produced after July 2020, we manage the entire unlocking process through FEMTO, including ECU removal, shipping, and vehicle storage during the procedure.

If ECU calibration is not a viable option, we offer the installation of tuning boxes to enhance engine performance. Although not equivalent to full OEM ECU tuning, all tuning boxes are tested and calibrated on our dyno with advanced log analysis to maximize achievable results while ensuring maximum reliability

S55 crank hub fix

The S55 engine offers high tuning potential, with the only critical issue being the stock Crank Hub and its design, where the sprockets are not mechanically fixed to the crankshaft.

For higher tuning stages, we offer an upgrade with a billet Crank Hub, which, through a mechanical pinning system on the crankshaft, prevents any potential slippage.

Aston installations

RAARO Performance is the exclusive official Aston Installations partner for Italy. We offer retrofitting services for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, HD multimedia display navigation systems, and parking assistance systems on all Aston Martin models not equipped with them from the factory, including DB7, DB9, DBS, V8 and V12 Vantage, Virage, Vanquish, and Rapide.

Coolant targets can be lowered during sport driving to get better engine efficiency and lower oil temperature.

Linear throttle response

With higher torque level, throttle sensitvity needs to be adjusted. A linear response will provide a pleasant driving experience.

Cold Start delete

If the Cold Start is too noisy, it is possible to deactivitate it or lower the maximum engine temperature for activation.

Start&Stop deactivation

Start&Stop can be deactivated completely, set to be deactiveted by default or to remember the last setting.

Pops&Bangs activation

Pops&Bangs can be enabled, and most of the times only in specific engine modes, like Sport or Dynamic mode.

Exhaust flaps optimization

Exhaust flaps can be set to be always open in Sport mode, but they can also be set to close and avoid drones at specific RPM.

Most of the modern cars have some gauges with torque and power. In most cases, they can be properly rescaled.
